My name is Lexi and I am the owner of Pawsitive Pup Dog Training. I've been an animal lover ever since I was a kid and I've always loved dogs more than anything. I attended Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences and graduated with my Bachelor's Degree in Dental Hygiene in 2015. After practicing for 4 years, I decided to go back to school to learn how to train dogs and planned to work with dogs in my spare time. I earned my certification for dog training through Animal Behavior College. It didn’t take me long after earning my certification to realize I had found my calling. I left dental hygiene and began dog training full-time.
Our method of training at Pawsitive Pup Dog Training is very important to me. We use positive-based methods only. That means we make no harsh leash corrections, we don't use prong, shock, or spray collars, and above all, we never act violently or aggressively towards a dog for any reason. I've found that keeping training positive and fun is not only effective but incredibly beneficial. Positive-based training creates a healthy relationship between you and your dog and forms a strong bond.
I get excited every time I get to meet and work with a new dog. Helping your dog become the dog of your dreams is something I am passionate about. I'd love to meet your pup and start this fun journey!
